Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care and perform related clerical duties to support department operations.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care in the electronic medical records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• BLS CPR certification required at hire.
• For CNAs working at Snowden at Fredericksburg: CPI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Obtains and records vital signs; documents data in EMR.
• Performs range of motion and hygiene care.
• Performs data entry and clerical duties as assigned.
