Job summary

Patient First is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our clinical team in Maryland. You will assist nurses and physicians, obtain accurate vitals, prepare patients for exams, and help with lab procedures while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include operating basic medical and office equipment, using the EMR system, restocking supplies, and complying with OSHA guidelines. You will collaborate with center staff to deliver friendly, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Age 18+
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Ability to hear pages, bells and phone system
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Attend scheduled CPR classes and code drills
• Prioritize and multitask
• Willingness to work at any center during staffing emergencies

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain vital signs; triage and prepare patients for exams
• Use electronic medical record system
• Order lab, x-ray, and supplies as directed
• Notify nurse/physician when ready for exam; communicate symptoms and needs
• Assist nurses and physicians with patient care and treatments
• Perform lab duties as assigned; sterilize and set up instruments
• Receive, store, and restock supplies; maintain treatment rooms
• Report to Charge Nurse at end of shift
• Maintain cleanliness per OSHA; assist with maintenance tasks
• Attend staff meetings and participate in center operations
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment
• Complete checklists and Policy Manager tasks
• Be available to assist as needed; foster teamwork and positive atmosphere
• Provide warm, friendly service in all interactions
