Job summary

Eureka-Rehabilitation- is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision of nurses and the administrator. The position starts at $22.00 per hour and increases with experience, focusing on resident comfort, safety and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, hygiene and mobility, documenting observations, reporting changes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Must be enrolled/licensed CNA and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a CNA program or hold CNA licensure.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical CNA experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Make beds and tidy rooms.
• Assist with meals, dressing and grooming.
• Prepare residents for therapy/transport.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and respond to calls promptly.
