Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a nursing assistant program or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during CNA class.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours thereafter.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding as needed.
• Keep residents clean and dry; change linens and clothing as necessary.
• Report abuse, medication concerns, and hazardous conditions to the Charge Nurse.
