Job summary

The role reports to the unit nurse and requires graduation from a state-approved CNA program, state licensure, CPR certification, and preferably 1 year of geriatric nursing experience. This PRN position involves 8 scheduled hours and hospital environment duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program.
• Current state CNA license in good standing; CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with baths, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide patient-centered care.
• Lift and move patients safely and assist in evacuation.
• Maintain professional relationships and protect confidentiality.
