Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (PRN) to deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring safety and well-being in accordance with MUSC Health standards.

The role requires CNA certification, active state licensure, and CPR certification; prior geriatric nursing experience is preferred. Reports to the unit nurse and participates in ongoing education. Schedule is PRN, with hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program.
• Licensed/registered CNA in good standing.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required upon hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Report to unit nurse and document patient care.
• Assist patients with baths, grooming, feeding and toileting.
• Maintain patient safety and well-being per MUSC Health standards.
