Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide to assist with patient care in the Med Surg area. The role includes assisting nurses with daily activities, documenting vital signs in the EMR, and participating in admission, transfer and discharge processes for assigned patients.

The position requires Basic Life Support and Nurse Aide certification in good standing. Flexible schedule includes weekend rotation and holiday coverage as described in the posting.

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Mansioni

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer, discharge tasks and room setup.
• Collect specimens and assist with point‑of‑care testing per protocol.
• Handle errands, stock nursing area, and maintain equipment and supplies.
