Good Samaritan in Indianola, IA is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in our 105-bed long-term/post-acute care facility. You will assist with daily living activities, observe residents, and report changes to the RN.

The role requires CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts with 24 hours weekly. We offer night/weekend differential, education support, and a comprehensive benefits package with daily access

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

Mansioni

• The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care and provides resident-centered nursing care.
• Assists with basic health care needs including daily living activities and vital signs.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
