Sanford Health in Indianola, IA is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Good Samaritan long-term care team. You will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support the nursing staff under an RN.

This full-time night shift offers 12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and a pay range of $18.00–$25.50 per hour with night and weekend differentials. Benefits and education assistance are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process of obtaining certification.
• Annual continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours).
• State CNA registry where applicable; driving eligibility may be required.
• Employee may be classified as Sanford Category II Driver where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility activities.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining assistance.
• Document resident interactions and vital signs as required.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse; follow care plans.
• Support infection prevention and PPE use; participate in wellness activities.
