Job summary

Moraga Post-Acute is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a part-time role across AM, PM, and NOC shifts. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour.

You will deliver hands-on resident care, support nurses, and help maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence for residents in a supportive, resident-centered setting. We offer flexible scheduling, ongoing training, opportunities for career growth, and a collaborative leadership team.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies and procedures.
• Document care provided and resident observations accurately.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and health care team members.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Position Summary
