Job summary

Moraga Post-Acute is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a caring, patient-centered environment. This full-time AM shift role involves assisting residents with daily activities, transfers, mobility, and comfort, while closely collaborating with nurses and the care team to maintain high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Document care provided and observations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Respond promptly to call lights and communicate with team to ensure resident comfort.
