Job summary

Moraga Post-Acute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role across AM, PM, and NOC shifts in Moraga, CA. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour.

We value compassionate, dependable CNAs who deliver resident-centered care and collaborate with nurses and the care team to support daily living activities. The ideal candidate holds an active California CNA certification, with CPR certification preferred, and demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

  • Active California CNA certification required.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritize resident needs.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
  • Follow individualized care plans and facility policies and procedures.
  • Accurately document care provided and resident observations.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. You will work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive high-quality care throughout your shift.
