Midwest Pain Clinics in Omaha, NE seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our outpatient pain management team. You will support physicians and clinical staff, document vital signs, assist with procedures, and help maintain a clean, ready-to-work clinical area.

The role offers a full-time weekday schedule (Mon-Thu 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM) and opportunities to grow in a specialized field with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant program or equivalent training.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 3 years of healthcare experience.
• EMR experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment nursing assistant skills assessment.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for appointments and procedures and support physicians and staff.
• Obtain vital signs, weight, oxygen saturation, medical history, medications and allergies.
• Communicate patient concerns to providers and document clinical information.
• Assist with office-based procedures and prepare treatment areas.
• Set up procedure trays and follow sterile technique.
• Collect and process specimens according to protocols and regulations.
• Assist with telephone triage and document patient communications.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Keep medical supplies and equipment stocked and ready for use.
