Job summary

Allpro Homecare in Portland, ME is seeking an Experienced CNA or PSS to join our team and support veterans with quality non-medical homecare.

Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, meals, light housekeeping, and reporting to the administrator. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, online training, and support staff are provided.

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA or PSS.
• At least 1 year of experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare setting.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience (if required).
• Able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
