Job summary

Allpro Homecare TN is seeking an experienced CNA or HHA to join our team and deliver quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population. We offer a flexible schedule and weekly pay, with support staff available and online training.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and light housekeeping. Must have a valid Florida CNA or HHA license and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA or equivalent; Florida HHA license also accepted.
• 1 year experience in hospital, nursing home, or homecare setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation with cane/walker/wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties and light meal preparation with client input.
• Reports any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Acts quickly and responsibly in emergencies and follows the Client Service Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Adequate physical endurance
