Job summary

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join our team in providing quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, support staff, and online training to help you succeed in a rewarding role delivering compassionate in-home care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Current PSS license in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in hospital, nursing home or homecare setting.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and use of bedpan or toilet.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, or wheelchair.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals with client participation when able.
• Report unusual events to the administrator and respond in emergencies.
• Complete all other duties per the Client Service Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan

Requirements
