Job summary
Ciena Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
You will assist residents with daily living activities, support staff, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment while following facility policies.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED.
- Must be a CNA in good standing or state-approved training and pass the competency exam within 120 days.
- Computer skills are required.
- Meets all state and federal background check requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning with lift devices as needed.
- Respond to call lights and changes in condition; report observations to nursing staff.
- Support residents’ independence and dignity while ensuring safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation per facility procedures.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions at all times.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Provide postmortem care and contribute to the care plan.
