Responsibilities

As a CNA nursing unit secretary, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of an RN. Duties include coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician, and staff needs to support the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
• Current state CNA license for applicable state of employment
• Six months previous CNA experience, preferred
• Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred

Physical Requirements

Medium work: may exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Compensation and Shift

Hourly pay: $18.00 – $25.88 per hour.

Shift: Nights; part‑time 12‑hour shifts with varied nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
