Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or enrollment in certification process within four months.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually and maintenance of department certifications.
• Applicable states: UAP Registry as required.
• Sanford Driving Policy compliance if driver duties apply.

Responsabilités

• The NA provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility; perform ROM and passive exercises as appropriate.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and maintenance of a positive dining experience; record vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate any condition changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees if needed.
