The Boston Home in Dorchester, MA, seeks a caring Nursing Assistant/CNA to support residents in a 96-bed community serving adults with multiple sclerosis and neurological disorders.

You will work under the Nurse Manager, providing personal care, meals assistance, transfers, bathing and grooming, while delivering exceptional resident service and daily interactions with families.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care assistance to residents (meals, bathing, grooming).
• Assist with transfers using appropriate devices.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

As a 96-bed community for adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders, The Boston Home's population is younger and more stable than many care facilities, with residents often joining the community in mid-life and residing for 20+ years. You will enjoy the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the residents for whom you care!

The Nursing Assistant works under the direction of the Staff Nurse and is responsible for providing personal care assistance to our residents. This includes assisting with resident's meals, transferring them using appropriate assistive devices, bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming. Additional responsibilities include interacting with residents and families on a daily basis and using customer service skills to ensure that residents have an exceptional experience in The Boston Home community.
