Visiting Angels Springfield, IL is hiring a CNA Nurse Aide to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Central Illinois area. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and personal care, while delivering safety, dignity and companionship in a supportive family-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.

• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide friendly companionship.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

CNA Nurse Aide Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

CNA Nurse Aide Requirements
