Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is hiring a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide. Earn $16-$20 per hour with weekly pay and a $400 sign-on bonus. Flexible hours include full-time, part-time, PRN, weekdays, nights and weekends, with shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours.

We serve Macoupin County and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate in-home care, medication assistance, mobility support, meal prep and light housekeeping, while enjoying paid orientation, paid time off and access to health benefits.

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
