Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Central Illinois area. You will assist with mobility, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and daily living tasks while preserving dignity and independence.

We offer a pay rate of $16-$20 per hour, weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, and flexible hours (full-time, part-time, PRN, days, nights, weekends).

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Own a vehicle with current insurance

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
