Job summary

Hanford Post Acute in Hanford, CA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for a full-time CNA position on the NOC shift. The pay ranges from $17.25 to $19.00 per hour, BOE, with a full-time schedule and dedicated patient care responsibilities.

The CNA will provide routine nursing care, monitor residents, assist with activities of daily living, and support a compassionate team. Qualifications include a CA CNA certification and English communication skills; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or completion of 10th grade minimum.
• Valid California CNA Certification (required).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math, reasoning, and documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and transporting residents safely.
• Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weight, and food/fluid intake as instructed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the nurse supervisor.
• Maintain residents' rooms in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Assist with meal delivery and feeding; provide after-meal care.
• Help residents prepare for medical exams or therapies.
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care efforts.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
• Respect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Job Summary

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the shift
• Must be able to perform duties in a busy, sometimes emotionally stressful environment
• May be required to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies

Work Environment

• Skilled nursing facility setting with moderate noise levels
• Exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids may occur
