Job summary

Hanford Post Acute in Hanford, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team on a full-time basis. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident's plan, promoting comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, documentation, and assisting with meals and mobility. Valid CA CNA certification is required; CPR preferred. Starting pay is $17.25–$19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA Certification required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and transporting residents
• Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weight, and food/fluid intake
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the nurse supervisor
• Maintain residents' rooms in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
• Assist with meal delivery and feeding; provide after-meal care
• Help residents prepare for medical exams or therapies
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care efforts
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and timely
• Respect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times
