Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 24-hour capable team. The CNA provides compassionate nursing care to residents under supervision, following a tailored care plan and Nurse Aide Guidelines.

A $5,000 discretionary sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements include Montana CNA certification, current BLS, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse's Aide by the State of Montana is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the charge nurse and Team Manager, the CNA administers nursing care to residents in accordance with a specific care plan devised for each individual resident according to Nurse Aide Guidelines.
  • The CNA supports the mission and nursing philosophy of Northern Montana Care Center.

The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. Our large, quiet labor/birthing rooms are private and located away from other patient care areas. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.

Specialties of our active staff of doctors include Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Hematology, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Pathology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Radiology and Women's Health.

For the convenience of our patients, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of:

About the role
