Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for night and evening shifts in a unionized facility. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under supervision.

Required is a CNA certification with in-state eligibility and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred, and prior long-term care experience is beneficial for performing routine ADLs and monitoring resident health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected resident’s plans of care.
• Documents restorative services provided following facility policies and procedures.
