Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities in a long-term care setting. Under supervision, you will assist with ADLs, mobility, and basic nursing tasks while maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality.

Prior CNA certification in the state, CPR preferred, and a basic commitment to punctuality and teams are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification valid in the state of employment.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with eating.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas.
• Turn and position residents in bed and assist with ambulation as indicated.
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Document ADLs, personal cares, and device use per facility policies.
