Cascadia Healthcare in Oregon is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work noc and evening shifts. Under supervision, the CNA provides basic nursing assistance and helps residents with daily living activities in a unionized setting.

Requirements include a valid CNA certification in the state and, ideally, CPR. The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the nursing team to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with ROM exercises and moving to/from wheelchair or activity areas.
• Turns and positions residents in bed and assists with ambulation.
• Measures and records vitals and intake/output as directed.
• Documents ADLs and device use on flow sheets as directed.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings to provide input into care plans.
• Documents restorative services following facility policies.
• Provides person-centered care and maintains punctuality for shifts.
