Job summary

Symphony Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to our guests in a long-term care setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, document care, and support the nursing team while ensuring guests' rights and dignity are respected. Must have Michigan CNA certification or be eligible to test; reliable attendance and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Michigan CNA certification or be eligible to test and certify within 4 months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of long-term care, hospice, or healthcare experience desired (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to guests in an environment that promotes rights, dignity, and individuality.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Documents care provided in PCC per department policies with confidentiality.
• Checks vital signs, weighs guests, applies creams, and collects specimens as directed.
• Assists Wound Care Nurse and maintains skin integrity to prevent ulcers.
• Responds to call lights promptly and maintains guest privacy and dignity.
• Assists new admissions and transfers between rooms; communicates effectively with guests and families.
