Job summary

Bella Senior Care in Michigan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care and help clients maintain independence. Primary tasks include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication reminders.

You will document activities in ESRP, coordinate with management, and may assist with mobility, transportation, and night-time routines as needed. Weekend availability is required; a dependable vehicle and insurance are mandatory.

Qualifications

Fluent reading and writing of English required.
Must have reliable personal transportation.
Able to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.

Responsibilities

Assist with walking and light exercise.
Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and incontinence care.
Plan & prepare meals followed by cleanup.
Make beds and change bed linens.
Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming).
Clean bathroom and kitchen for a safe environment.
Do laundry.
Provide medication reminders.
Run errands as directed by management.
Provide incidental transportation using client or caregiver vehicle.
Assist client in sleep-over situations and during night.
Assist client to and from bed and in the morning cleanup.
