Job summary

Good Samaritan Miller Prairie Center in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care during night shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 to qualify.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required or in process within four months.
• CNA training and certification provided by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with basic health needs including bathing, grooming, eating, and recording vital signs.
• Support infectious control policies and use of PPE.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility using proper techniques.
