Job summary

Advocate Health’s St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a part-time CNA for inpatient care. Shifts begin at 7pm or 11pm, with 8- or 12-hour options, weekend and holiday rotation, and a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, vital signs, transport to departments, and providing comfort and family communication. CNA certification (WI Registry) is required; a High School Diploma or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA (WI Registry) certification required or eligible.
• Compassion and patience with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nurses/doctors.
• Set up medical equipment and assist during procedures.
• Transport patients to tests or surgeries.
• Monitor patients for distress or changes in behavior and document care.
• Provide emotional support and communicate with patients and families.
