Rehab of Kansas City South is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Night Shift. The role involves providing hands-on resident care in a safe, respectful environment on a full-time basis.

You’ll work with a supportive nursing team and follow facility procedures to deliver quality care. Qualifications include a current CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program, with 6 months of CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification OR enrollment in a CNA certification program.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience preferred, or clinical experience from a CNA program.
• Dependable and compassionate approach to resident care.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Make regular resident rounds and respond to resident needs.
• Take and report resident information as directed.
• Make beds and maintain clean, safe resident rooms.
• Keep water pitchers clean, filled, and within residents’ reach.
• Follow facility policies, nursing procedures, and safety regulations.
• Report resident needs and concerns to the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
• Work as part of the nursing team to provide quality resident care.

Your Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide hands-on care and support to our residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate daily care to residents

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care

• Making regular resident rounds and responding to resident needs

• Taking and reporting resident information as directed
