Job summary

Healthstaff Services Inc. is a Home Care Staffing agency seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant for part-time work with Saturday availability. The CNA will provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, performing essential daily living activities while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Requirements include a GA CNA certification, TB test, CPR/First Aid, and at least six months of experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed for home visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• TB test completed or cleared.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certification/license to practice in Georgia required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; BLS alone not acceptable.
• Minimum six months of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient hygiene including bedpans, baths, and grooming.
• Support activities of daily living and feeding as necessary.
• Monitor vital signs and document intake/output.
• Provide patient comfort and report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Pursue ongoing licensure and keep knowledge updated.

Healthstaff Services Inc. is a Home Care Staffing agency dedicated to hiring qualified certified nursing assistants, Licensed practicalnurses and Registered nurses. We provide service for our clients in their homes requiring our employees to work with them on a one on one basis. We are screening for consistent, dependable and forward thinking employees.

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Duties:

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating,
  turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and material, reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining licensure.
