Job summary

Healthstaff Services, Inc. is hiring immediate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our Griffin/SPALDING COUNTY team providing in-home care.

We seek dependable CNAs, LPNs, and RNs who can deliver compassionate one-on-one support, assist with daily living activities, monitor patient condition, and communicate with nursing supervision. Georgia-certified credentials and a valid driver’s license are required; reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have certification/licensure in Georgia (CNA/LPN/RN).
• TB test required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Six months or more experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patients' personal hygiene and assists with activities of daily living.
• Assists with meals, feeding, ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Monitors vital signs, weight, and urine tests; records I&O.
• Supports patient comfort and notifies nursing staff of observations.
• Documents actions through forms, reports, and logs.
• Follows policies to maintain work operations and confidentiality.

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Duties:

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating,
  turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and material, reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
  licensure.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have certification/License in the State of Georgia (C.N.A/LPN/RN)
