Job summary

Caring Hands United, Inc. seeks a compassionate Caregiver in Manchester, GA for weekend shifts. CNAs and PCAs are welcome; PCA training is provided for those with 6 months of experience with frail or disabled adults. Flexible scheduling is offered to fit weekends.

Caregivers will work in clients' homes under RN supervision, performing daily living tasks and personal care, and may travel to multiple client locations in the community.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in healthcare facility or home care preferred.
• Must pass criminal history check and drug screening.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of CNA procedures or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recreational/social activities and light housekeeping.

Job description

Caring Hands United, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in the Manchester, GA area for weekends. For this position, we welcome CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) and PCAs (Personal Care Assistants) to apply. We also provide PCA training to qualified individuals who have at least 6 months of personal or professional experience working with frail older adults or disabled adults. We offer flexible scheduling.

Duties:

This person will be able to work in our clients' homes providing support with daily living tasks and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Staffing Coordinator. Also, caregivers must be able to travel to one or more client locations in the community.

• Assist clients in personal care, learning skills, and performing daily living skills
• Participates in recreational/social activities, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping
• May accompany clients to appointments and activities
• Observes and documents client's behavior

Qualifications:

• 6+ months experience working in a healthcare facility or home care is preferred
• Must be able to pass a criminal history check and a drug screening
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procedures performed by a Certified Nursing Assistant or be willing to be trained
