Job summary

Healthstaff Services Inc. is seeking a male CNA to care for male clients in home settings. Part-time or full-time positions offered, with one-on-one client care and adherence to home care protocols.

Candidates must hold a Georgia CNA certification, maintain CPR/First Aid certification, and have TB testing completed. A reliable vehicle and six months of CNA experience are preferred. Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, documentation, and compassion-driven support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Georgia CNA certification/license required.
• CPR/FIRST AID certification is required.
• TB test is required.
• Driver's license.
• Reliable car.
• Six months or more experience as a CNA/LPN/RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patients' personal hygiene including baths, bedpan/urinal use, and shaves.
• Assists with activities of daily living and meals; helps with ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Monitors vital signs and weight; tests urine; records intake and output.
• Provides patient comfort and reports observations to nursing staff.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Follows policies to maintain work operations and protect patient confidentiality.

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Duties:

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating,
  turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and material, reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining licensure.

Job Requirements:
