Job summary

Healthstaff Services Inc. is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Upson County, Thomaston, GA. We are seeking dependable CNAs to join a compassionate team dedicated to improving clients’ quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meals, mobility, vital signs, and documentation. Requirements: valid Georgia CNA license, CPR/First Aid, TB test, six months+ experience; Hoyer lift a plus. Shifts tracked and logged.

Responsibilities

• Provides patients' personal hygiene and assistance with daily living activities.

• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Keeps patient information confidential.
• Engages in ongoing education to maintain licensure and knowledge.

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Duties:

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and material, reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining licensure.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• TB TEST
• Hoyer Lift a plus
• Must have an up to date Georgia State CNA License
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Six months or more experience
