Job summary

Nye Health Services in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team on day shift. You will provide hands-on care, promote dignity, and help residents stay independent while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and resident-focused care approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, reposition and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide support during meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to Memory Care residents.
• Follow care plans and document care accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with nurses and caregivers to provide exceptional care.
