Canterbury Gardens in Longview, WA is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Resident Services team. This full-time role reports to the CG Director of Resident Services and offers a pay rate between $20.50 and $21.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington State.
• Ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and state rules.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• New CNA grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
