Canterbury Inn in Longview, WA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Resident Services team. This full-time CNA role focuses on delivering high-quality personal care with dignity and respect to our residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, engage residents in social activities, and maintain a safe, clean environment while upholding resident rights. New graduates are welcome to apply, with competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Currently certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington state.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs require additional training and testing to earn the same rate as a CNA.
• Ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed per policy and state rules.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening.
• Must pass a criminal background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care.
• Responds to resident needs promptly and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
