Job summary

Oorwin AI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to perform CNA duties for neonatal through geriatric patients in a hospital setting, following standards, policies, and procedures to promote comfort and safety. Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, oral care, feeding, toileting, ambulation, turning and repositioning.
• Administers ice packs, heat treatments, and other treatments under RN direction.
• Take vital signs, daily weights, glucose testing, specimen collection, and postmortem care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Maintain infection control and a safe, clean environment.
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Certified Nursing Assistant position performs CNA functions for neonatal through geriatric patient populations in the hospital setting, in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, oral care, feeding, toileting, ambulation, turning and repositioning and any other duties that may arise.
• Administers ice packs, heat treatments, and other treatments under direction of the RN
• Perform accurate intake and output, daily weights, vital signs, fingerstick blood glucose testing, specimen collection, and postmortem care
• Promptly answers call lights and requests
• Consistently follows Infection Control Practices while in the facility in regards to patient care and cleanliness
• Report changes in condition in patients to Registered Nurse.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, coworkers and guests
• Complies with organizational and regulatory policies for handling confidential patient information.
• Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

• Successful completion of nursing assistant course or the equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or obtained within 4 months of hire.
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• AHA BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Shift Information: Night Shift 9:30pm-7am, every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation.
