Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week hospital assignment, covering neonatal through geriatric patient populations.

You will assist with activities of daily living, perform vitals, glucose testing, and postmortem care as directed, and report changes to the RN. Must have Wisconsin CNA certification and AHA BLS; night shift 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM; 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of nursing assistant course or the equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or to be obtained within 4 months of hire
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• AHA BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, oral care, feeding, toileting, ambulation, and repositioning as needed
• Administer ice packs, heat treatments, and other treatments under the direction of the Registered Nurse
• Perform accurate intake and output measurements, daily weights, vital signs, fingerstick blood glucose testing, specimen collection, and postmortem care
• Promptly answer call lights and patient requests
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, coworkers, and guests
• Comply with infection control practices and report changes to the RN
