Job summary

CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL is seeking a full-time CNA to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the nursing leadership. You will perform clerical tasks, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe and orderly nursing station.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, current CNA certification active on the IL HCW Registry, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Computer skills with Windows/Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of Windows/Office applications.
• CNA Certification required and active on IL Health Care Worker Registry.
• Familiarity with patient record keeping and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process patients' charts as indicated.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report updates.
• Assist with activities of daily living under supervision of RN/LPN.
• Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly.
• Support unit supplies management and maintain a clean, safe environment.
