Job summary

CGH Medical Center is seeking a part-time PRN CNA to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs/LPNs. You will assist with ADLs, respond to call lights, and help maintain patient comfort and a safe environment on the unit.

The role requires a high school diploma, active CNA certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Prior acute care experience is preferred, with opportunities across various shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• Must be active on the IL Health Care Worker Registry.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under supervision of a RN or LPN.
• Assists with ADLs and patient hygiene activities.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and requests.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Demonstrates professional behavior and proper sterile technique when assisting in departments.

Diploma or equivalent required.Current CNA certification required.
