Job summary

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, OR seeks a Patient Care Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and supporting the unit's operations with efficient clerical tasks.

Educated at least to High School/GED, with CNA and BLS certifications, you will help deliver quality care in a busy hospital setting and participate in a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities (nutrition, hydration, dressing, bathing).
• Take vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Perform clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Provide data and observations within scope of practice.
