Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required unless working under a student permit.
• Basic computer skills with familiarity in Excel and Word.
• Understand the principles of safe/effective nursing practices in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Feed residents, provide bedside water, snacks, and help with dining transfers.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly per facility policy.
• Maintain resident rooms, change linens, and organize personal belongings.
• Observe changes in appetite, skin condition, or behaviors and report promptly.
• Provide emotional support and listen to residents to promote independence.
