Job summary

Woodbridge Care Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team on a PRN basis. You will interact directly with patients, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and serve as a vital link between patients and nurses.

The position offers up to $23.00 per hour, a sign-on bonus up to $2,500, weekend incentives, shift differentials, and a range of benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner").

Responsibilities

• Certified Nursing Assistants assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, and providing water and nourishment.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos and showers.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart.
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.
• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Maintain composure under pressure in critical situations.
