Job summary

Kindred Hospital El Paso, a long-term acute care facility, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff and provide patient care in assigned areas. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and help prepare rooms for admissions and discharges under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification required or preferred.
• BLS Certification required or preferred.
• Experience in acute or long-term care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care such as positioning and hygiene.
• Take and record vitals, document accurately and timely.
• Prepare room and equipment for admissions/transfers; ensure comfort.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge procedures; handle belongings.
• Respond to call lights and coordinate with RN for treatments.
• Assist with routine procedures under RN supervision.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
